Day 19: Lusaka

Our final day of preparation for the workshop. After going home early in the morning to wash and have some breakfast, we returned and Jason started prepping the first run of the nanopore machine in Africa.
He started the run late in the evening and the exciting thing is that it was working amazingly. 90% pore occupancy and generating loads of data, the 'best run he'd ever done!.
This all bodes will for the future.
